In the backdrop of tension between two caste groups in a village in Maharashtra's Beed district, a video has been circulated on social media in which alleged remarks have been made against a particular community. After the tension arising over this, leaders of different political parties have appealed to the people for peace. The video circulated on social media on sunday against the backdrop of tension between members of the maratha and Vanjari communities.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers devendra fadnavis and ajit pawar appealed to maintain peace and avoid such comments. In the video, some villagers are saying that no 'Maharaj' (religious preacher) of the maratha community should be called to the village. Superintendent of police Nand Kumar Thakur said, “After the video went viral, a meeting was held in Mundewadi village."After talking to the villagers, we found out that there was no caste-based dispute among them."

In the video clip that went viral on sunday, some villagers can be heard saying that there is no 'Maharaj' (religious preacher) from Maratha. The community should be invited to the village. Villagers also asked others not to consume liquor from the shop, while one person threatened that those violating the order would be punished. After the video clip went viral, a meeting was organized in Mundewadi village.
