Aam Aadmi party (AAP) national convenor and delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal has said that he has no "tension or worry" about going back to Tihar Jail. He described going to jail as part of his "struggle" to save the country. Along with this he remembered the time spent in Tihar Jail. He said that he has read Geeta twice in jail, this has completely changed his perspective. cm Kejriwal's interim bail period will end on june 1. The supreme court had on May 10 granted interim bail to kejriwal, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy, to campaign for the ongoing lok sabha elections.

'If I had to go back...'

Delhi cm arvind kejriwal said while talking to the media that before getting interim bail, he read 'Gita' twice in tihar jail during his stay in jail for about a month. He claimed that this has changed his perspective. When asked about being sent back to tihar jail, he said, “I have no tension or worry. If I had to go back I would go back. I consider this a part of my struggle to save the country.”

Surveillance was maintained 24 hours through CCTV cameras – CM

Recalling the time he spent in jail, kejriwal said that he read three-four books including 'Gita', 'Ramayana' and the political history of the country. He also alleged that he was kept under 24-hour surveillance through CCTV cameras installed in the jail, which were monitored by 13 jail officials as well as the Prime Minister's office (PMO). kejriwal said, “Just imagine that your every activity is being monitored 24 hours. This will make life difficult. There was no time for me to be relaxed.”

Center attacked on electoral bond issue

On the issue of electoral bonds, the AAP convenor said that if the opposition alliance 'India' comes to power, an inquiry will be ordered into the 'biggest scam' of independent India. cm said that even if he is hanged, AAP will not end.
