He has also contested elections twice from Kalka. Along with this, Satwinder Singh Rana has also been the State General Secretary of congress party from 2007 to 2014. He had also contested elections from Kalka in 2009 and 2014. lok sabha elections for 10 seats of haryana are to be held on May 25. These 10 lok sabha seats include Hisar, Sirsa, Karnal, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Rohtak, faridabad and Gurugram seats.
