Father's claim on Amritpal Singh contesting elections...Amritpal Singh's father Tarsem Singh has made a big claim about contesting the lok sabha elections in Punjab. Tarsem Singh said that Amritpal Singh was not interested in contesting the elections, but at the request of 'Sangat' or community, he changed his mind. The people of Sangat wanted him to contest the elections. He said that wherever we are going, people are supporting him. Tarsem Singh claimed that although the government tried hard to defame him, the people are with him. He said that Paramjit Kaur Khalra, wife of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, will lead the election campaign of Amritpal Singh.
