First reaction of CM's son Shrikant after getting ticket?

After the meeting with bjp, shiv sena announced its candidates for thane and kalyan Lok Sabha seats. While the party has given ticket to naresh Mhaske from thane, Shrikant Shinde has been fielded from kalyan seat.

When is the voting on this seat?

Voting for thane and kalyan seats is to be held on May 20. After being fielded from Kalyan, Shrikant Shinde has thanked his father and maharashtra cm Eknath Shinde. He said, “Many thanks to all the leaders of Mahayuti, Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis.”

Fielded candidates from Nashik seat also

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde-led shiv sena has declared former mayor naresh Mhaske and sitting mp Hemant Godse as its candidates from thane and Nashik lok sabha constituencies. In this way the speculations that had been going on for several weeks ended. Godse's re-nomination from Nashik constituency in north maharashtra indicates that shiv sena has won over its ally bjp and Ajit Pawar-led NCP, which were trying to capture the seat.

Former thane mayor Mhaske will data-face shiv sena (UBT) candidate and sitting mp Rajan Vichare. There is a possibility of a direct contest between Godse and shiv sena (UBT) candidate Rajabhau Waje. thane is the stronghold of cm Shinde, who represents the Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constituency of the city. shiv sena has so far fielded candidates on 15 seats in maharashtra, including three seats in thane, Nashik and Kalyan, which send 48 members to the Lok Sabha. Shrikant Shinde's candidature from kalyan was a mere formality, as maharashtra Deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis had declared him the 'Mahayuti' (grand alliance) candidate last month. He won the kalyan seat as a shiv sena (Undivided) candidate in the 2014 and 2019 lok sabha elections. Voting will be held in thane, Nashik and kalyan on May 20.
