Union home minister amit shah said that we have already crossed 100 seats with two phases of polling over. Parliamentary lok sabha elections are held across the country in 7 phases. While the first phase of polling for 109 constituencies was held on 19th, the second phase of polling for 89 constituencies was held on 26th.BJP is aiming to form the government for the 3rd term after winning a hat-trick in this election. The bjp has set a target of winning 370 seats alone and more than 400 seats with an alliance.Union home minister amit shah said that the bjp and its allies have crossed 100 seats. amit shah met the media when he went to an election campaign meeting in Guwahati, Assam. Speaking then, he said, “After two phases of elections, based on our internal estimates, the bjp and its allies have crossed 100 seats. We also believe that we are moving towards our commitment of winning at 400 locations. As per initial trends, bjp is getting a good reception in South India.” said.

Amit Shah said that congress is spreading false information that bjp will abolish reservation after crossing 400 seats, "These things are baseless and untrue. bjp has always supported reservation for SC, st and OBCs. I also want to make it clear that the bjp will always play its role as the protector of terror groups.” As promised.Responding to a question about the candidature of rahul gandhi and priyanka gandhi in Raebareli lok sabha constituency, Amethi, Union home minister amit shah said, “I don't know whether they will contest the election or not, but the confusion is there now. It shows that they lack self-confidence. In Uttar Pradesh they have left traditional places and fled.” said. Asked about Revanna of ally Secular Janata Dal in Karnataka, he said, “BJP's stand is clear that we stand with the women power of the country. What I want to ask congress is whose rule? congress party rule. Why haven't they taken any action yet? As this is a law and order issue of the state, we do not have to take action on it, the state government should take action. Our ally, the Secular Janata Dal has announced that we are in favor of the probe.” said.
