Mendak to Sasaram: From Ra*e to POCSO... Telangana BJP candidate M Raghunandan is contesting from medak Lok Sabha constituency and has 29 cases pending against him, ranging from SC/ST Act to rape cases. On the other hand, congress has a candidate from Sasaram. From Sasaram whose legacy is famous in the name of women power like Babu Jagjivan ram and meera Kumar. In such a situation, what was the compulsion of congress that it made an accused of a serious crime like POCSO Act as its candidate? Was this done intentionally? Or was the top leadership not aware of these facts?In fact, without taking cognizance of the FIR number 5792015240130 registered under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012) in Kundra police Station, Bhabua on 8 april 2024, how did congress field its candidate from Sasaram such a person (Manoj Ram) Whose son (Ujjwal Kumar, who was also arrested) and who himself has been named as an accused in this case (copy of FIR attached). The question is that when this message goes to the people of bihar or the country (after submitting the affidavit), what answer will congress give?The high command is unaware or uninformedThe question is whether the candidate misled the local congress leadership or the congress in-charges/observers from Delhi? It is also interesting that the victim's father (belonging to a backward/extreme backward caste), a resident of Bhabhua, had applied to the police in february 2024 itself, but the FIR was not registered at that time and when he met the police captain, he went somewhere on april 8. This FIR could be registered. In this FIR, he has clearly named Ujjwal Kumar, father Manoj ram, father Ramji ram, his wife and another woman as accused for exploiting his minor daughter. It is true that sometimes someone is implicated in politics with wrong intentions. But investigation is yet to be done in the said case. The candidate's son was also arrested. Couldn't we have waited until the investigation came out clean?
