The seventh and last phase of voting in himachal pradesh is to be held on june 1. Its results will be declared along with the entire country on june 4 only. himachal pradesh elections are special in many ways. By-elections are to be held in six assembly constituencies along with four lok sabha seats. Meanwhile, a big problem has arisen for congress in Himachal. Even after several rounds of meetings and intense brainstorming, till now congress has not been able to announce candidates for the elections of two lok sabha constituencies and by-elections of six assembly constituencies. congress has so far been able to announce only the names of Vinod Sultanpuri from shimla parliamentary constituency and vikramaditya Singh from Mandi parliamentary constituency. Both are sitting MLAs in himachal pradesh Assembly.

35 days left for lok sabha elections

There are 35 days left for elections in Himachal Pradesh. In such a situation, potential candidates are still confused. Apart from this, the workers also seem to be demoralized. There is no discussion even remotely about the officials in the party who have applied for tickets. Apart from this, Himachal bjp has announced its candidates about a month ago. Not only this, bjp also made its candidates in the by-election of the assembly constituency all those congress leaders who had spoiled the game of congress in the rajya sabha elections. This gave bjp time to control the damage. However, the bjp has not been completely successful in this till now.

Potential candidates do not want to contest lok sabha elections

Chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had gone to delhi specifically to attend the Central election Committee meeting. However, the meeting was not held here in Delhi. It is believed that now congress is going to announce the candidates without any meeting. All the leaders who are being discussed about contesting the elections in the state are themselves refusing to go ahead and contest the elections. As soon as the name of Raghubir Singh Bali from kangra came into the headlines, he wrote a letter and expressed his feelings to National President mallikarjun Kharge. Another potential candidate from kangra and former education minister in the government, Asha Kumari, has not received any response so far regarding her desire to contest the elections.
