Congress's list for Himachal assembly by-elections, tickets to two leaders!!!By-elections are to be held in six assembly constituencies along with four lok sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh. congress has announced its candidates in three out of six assembly constituencies. In this, Captain Ranjit Singh Rana (retired) has been made the candidate from Sujanpur, Rakesh Kalia from Gagret and vivek Sharma from Kutlahar. Now the announcement of candidates from Lahaul Spiti, Dharamshala and Badsar is awaited from the congress Party.Captain Ranjit Singh Rana (retd) is contesting on congress ticket from Sujanpur assembly seat under district Hamirpur. Ranjit Singh Rana had contested the 2022 assembly elections on bjp ticket and lost the election to Congress's Rajinder Rana. Now Rajinder Rana is the bharatiya janata party candidate in the 2024 assembly by-elections. After about one and a half years, both the candidates will once again be in the electoral battle, but now both their parties have changed. Ranjit Singh Rana had joined the congress party on wednesday itself after meeting Himachal congress in-charge rajeev Shukla.Rakesh Kalia will contest elections against chaitanya SharmaCongress has fielded Rakesh Kalia in the by-election of Gagret assembly constituency under theUna district. Rakesh Kalia has also left congress and joined BJP. However, Rakesh Kalia left congress and joined bjp in the year 2022. He expected to get the ticket from bjp, but bjp did not give him the ticket. Rajesh Thakur from bjp contested the elections and was defeated by chaitanya Sharma from Congress. Now after the rebellion, chaitanya Sharma has joined congress and bjp and is BJP's candidate in the by-election. Now this by-election of Gagret assembly constituency will be between chaitanya Sharma of bjp and Rakesh Kalia of Congress.
