Similarly, in Bengal, mamata Banerjee's party Trinamool and Congress-CPM are contesting elections separately. In Jammu and Kashmir, there is PDP on one side and the alliance of congress and National Conference on the other.Trinamool congress has given tickets to 6 Muslims in Bengal. The party has fielded Shahnawaz ali in Malda South, Khalilur Rehman in Jangipur, Yusuf Pathan in Brahmapur, Abu Taher Khan in Murshidabad, Nurul islam in Basirhat, Sajda ahmed in Uluberia. The congress and CPM alliance has fielded 11 Muslims as candidates from here. On behalf of the alliance, leaders from the Muslim community have been made candidates for high-profile seats like Raiganj, Malda North, Malda South, Jangipur, and Murshidabad.In 2019, Trinamool won 22 seats, bjp 18, and congress 2 seats in West Bengal.Congress alliance in kerala has given tickets to 3 Muslims.
