A group of villagers, armed with bows and arrows, were protesting against bjp candidate Geeta Koda from Singhbhum in Gamharia and Manoharpur villages. Eyewitnesses said the protesters were accusing former rural congress MP Geeta Koda, who has now joined the bjp, of being absent for the last five years.

‘The protest was pre-planned and part of a conspiracy’

While talking to the media, Geeta Koda, without clearly naming any party, claimed that the protest was pre-planned and was part of a conspiracy. A certain party had a dispute with his party members due to which he got hurt. He said that he immediately informed the local administration about the incident but they delayed in coming. Geeta Koda said that I intend to file an FIR and inform the election commission about the incident.
