There are a total of 1,80,900 votes in this constituency, of which 88 thousand are male and 92 thousand are female. In such a constituency, after the bifurcation of the state, in the 2014 election, Uppleti Kalpana won with a huge majority against the then tdp candidate Ramaiah. Then in 2016, she joined TDP. Thus, in 2019, ycp allotted this seat to Kaila Anil Kumar. This time she expected to get a tdp ticket but unexpectedly this ticket was allotted to Ramaiah's son Kumar Raja.  


  A strong point has come to the public that no development has taken place in this constituency under the leadership of ycp which came to power in 2014 and 2019. people are expressing their displeasure that the bus stand and drainage system are in disarray, especially in Palmeru. Moreover, there is an allegation that the prices of sand have gone up making it unaffordable to the public. On the other hand, Jagan's schemes have mostly reached the constituency. Kayla Anil is once again stepping into the campaign explaining about the schemes. Kumara Raja, who contests from tdp, is currently in charge of tdp there. The headmaster gave him a ticket. It seems that the idea of giving a chance to tdp, which has already been defeated many times, is strong among the people. Besides, Varla Kumara raja is also rushing to expose the failures of YCP. But it seems that there is a chance to go to the shores of victory if the bridegroom gets the support of Kalpana.
