All india Muslim Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi has received death threats today i.e. saturday (29 March). Threats have been received for supporting the citizenship amendment act (CAA) and opposing the Samajwadi Party. Samajwadi party leader Shahnawaz has threatened him over phone and mail. After which Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi complained at the police station. The person making the threat described himself as a SP leader and associated with the underworld. The residence of Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi is located in Saudagaran of Kotwali police station area of the city.

CAA was welcomed

Recently, caa has been implemented in the country by the Central Government. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, President of All india Muslim Jamaat, had said on the implementation of caa that we welcome this law. He had said that every Muslim in india should welcome it and Muslims should not panic. He had said that we welcome the implementation of caa because this law is going to give citizenship, not take it away. The discussion became heated across the country when caa was implemented. Meanwhile, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi, national president of Bareilly's All india Muslim Jamaat, welcomed this law, while the Muslims of the country opposed it. Because Muslims have been kept away by this law.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi had condemned Akhilesh Yadav's statement.

After SP leader Azam Khan went to jail, All india Muslim Jamaat national president Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi expressed his displeasure against Akhilesh. Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi issued a statement to the press saying that SP leader Azam Khan is going through difficult times, the Muslim community stands with Azam Khan, and our sympathies are also with Azam Khan and his family.
