arvind kejriwal was recently arrested in the delhi Excise Policy case. He issued his first official order as chief minister while in Enforcement Directorate custody. Kejriwal's AAP sources have informed this news. This order is related to the Water Department. party sources said the directive was sent through a note. delhi minister Atishi will hold a press conference at 10 am on Sunday. He is expected to reveal more details from this press conference.


delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal was arrested by the ED under the Anti-Money Laundering Act on march 21 after raiding his official residence in the Civil Lines area of the national capital. He was sent to the custody of the Enforcement Directorate till march 28 on friday for "detailed and protracted interrogation" regarding his role in the irregularities in the excise scam.


Despite his arrest, arvind kejriwal has not resigned as chief minister and his party leaders have assured that he will remain the chief minister of delhi and 'run the government from jail if necessary'. Atishi said, "We have already said that if necessary, kejriwal will run the government from jail. He can run the government because no rules can prevent him from doing so. He has not been found guilty, and so he will continue to be the chief minister of Delhi."
