Amidst the hustle and bustle of lok sabha elections, congress has suffered a major setback in Gujarat. Hundreds of congress officials joined the bjp in Jamnagar on friday (22 March) in the presence of mp Poonam Madam. This time congress has fielded JP Maraviya from the Jamnagar lok sabha seat. The joining of such a large number of officials in the bjp just before such elections is being considered a big political blow for the Congress. Poonam Madam is a bjp mp from Jamnagar. This time, bjp has again fielded Poonam Madam from Jamnagar lok sabha seat, expressing confidence in her.


On congress officials joining bjp, Poonam Madam said, "A large number of people believe in the vision of prime minister Narendra Modi, which is why they are continuously joining us." She said, "I welcome all the leaders joining the party to realize prime minister Narendra Modi's dream of making a developed India." 400 officials including 22 leaders join BJP. Talking about the leaders who left congress and joined the bjp, mp Poonam Madam said that 22 leaders of the Jamnagar lok sabha constituency along with more than four hundred workers joined bjp on friday (22 March). Referring to the leaders who have joined the bjp, mp Poonam Madam said that current councilors of Jamjodhpur Municipality, former and present members of district and Taluka Panchayats, and many present and former Sarpanches are included.Poonam Madam from Jamnagar will compete with him.


Poonam Madam said that this decision should not only strengthen BJP's branch at the regional level. He said this would create a feeling of cooperation among the common people regarding the welfare of the people of Jamnagar. Poonam Madam is currently a bjp mp from Jamnagar. This time he will data-face congress candidate JP Maraviya.
