AAP workers protested at various places regarding Kejriwal’s arrest

As per report delhi cm arvind kejriwal has been arrested. mumbai police has detained 10 AAP leaders for protesting near the ED office located at Ballard Estate in mumbai last night. The names of these leaders are Payas Varghese, Ruben Mascarenhas, manu Pillai, suresh Acharya, Aditya Paul, sajid khan Waheed Khan, Sundar Padmukh, Atanu Mukherjee, Sudhesh Patel.

Meanwhile aam aadmi party (AAP) has alleged that mumbai police beat up party workers protesting late on thursday night against the arrest of delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). AAP's maharashtra unit president Preeti Sharma menon alleged that party workers were heckled and assaulted and women were detained at night.

He wrote on 'X', "Today the police committed such brutality which cannot be imagined. AAP mumbai unit workers protesting against Modi's illegal arrest by the ED were dragged, beaten and even punched. The Enforcement Directorate has booked AAP national convenor kejriwal over excise policy issues. He was arrested on thursday night in a money laundering case and was taken to the agency headquarters.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal on thursday night in a money laundering case related to excise policy. His arrest came hours after the delhi high court refused to grant relief to kejriwal from any coercive action by the agency. This is the first case of arrest of a chief minister while in office. Officials said that soon after the high court order, an ED team reached his residence and conducted a search. After this, kejriwal was arrested.
