Why Jats angry over not getting benefit of OBC reservation at the Center?
As per report the dates of lok sabha elections in the country have been announced. Voting will be held in the first phase on 12 seats of Rajasthan. With the release of notification for the elections today (20 March), the process of nomination has also started. Jat community in eastern rajasthan is angry with BJP. Due to not getting the benefit of OBC reservation at the Centre, the Jat community has mobilized against BJP. “Operation Gangajal” has been started to defeat bjp in the elections.
Meanwhile Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti alleges that the bjp government has betrayed the Jats in the name of reservation. bjp will have to suffer in the elections on Bharatpur and Dholpur-Karauli lok sabha seats. The decision was taken in the meeting of Bharatpur-Dholpur Jat Reservation Struggle Committee on Wednesday. Leaders of Jat community from all the assemblies participated in the meeting. Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti told in the press conference that a unanimous decision was taken to defeat bjp in the lok sabha elections.
Moreover Jat community has formed a committee of 300 members at the district level and a committee of 11 members at every panchayat headquarters. The committee members will go from village to village and door to door day and night and appeal to defeat BJP. Members of Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti will also take ganga water in their hands and make them swear not to vote for BJP. It is noteworthy that in rajasthan, only the Jat community of Bharatpur-Dholpur districts is not getting the benefit of reservation. Jats of other districts are getting the benefit of OBC reservation in the centres.
