In maharashtra, shiv sena leader of Eknath Shinde faction and former mla Vijay Shivtare has announced to contest elections from Baramati lok sabha seat. Shivtare said that he will contest the election as an independent candidate. Baramati is not anyone's property.

Will Vijay Shivtare contest as an independent?

Shinde faction leader Shivtare said, I am not against Mahayuti, but against the royal family of Baramati. Shivtare said that the people of Baramati are fed up with the Pawar dynasty. No one wants to vote for supriya sule and Sunetra Pawar. Someone will have to muster courage against Pawar. It is noteworthy that Baramati is the stronghold of Pawar family and supriya sule is the candidate on this seat from MVA. sharad pawar has already announced this.

Targeted at ajit pawar

Former mla Vijay Shivtare further said, "Baramati constituency is one lok sabha constituency among the 543 constituencies in the country and it is not owned by anyone. I had campaigned against Ajit Pawar's son in the 2019 elections, but I have not taken it for politics. And he did it as part of his duty, not personally. He also said that 'If I decide to demolish someone in maharashtra, I am not afraid of anyone's father and if I demolish, I will demolish.' One should have a positive attitude to be selected. If he is selected then he will be selected.

Let us tell you, till now in maharashtra it seemed that there could be a contest between supriya sule vs Sunetra Pawar on Baramati seat. But after the announcement of the leader of Shinde group, now another candidate has come into the fray. Now will this contest be triangular or Pawar vs Pawar... this will be known only when the time comes.
