It is believed that the seat-sharing formula for the 48 lok sabha seats of the state was the main agenda of this meeting. Shah's visit to the state, days before the announcement of lok sabha election dates, comes at a time when BJP-led ruling coalition allies shiv sena (Shinde faction) and nationalist congress party (Ajit Pawar faction) are demanding more seats. .
