According to PTI, a few days ago, Union home minister amit shah held a meeting with maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister ajit pawar in Maharashtra. It is believed that the seat-sharing formula for the 48 lok sabha seats of the state was the main agenda of this meeting. However, no clear information has been given yet about how many seats each party in the grand alliance will contest in the upcoming lok sabha elections. At the same time, sources said that in maharashtra which has 48 lok sabha seats, bjp wants to contest on 30 seats, shiv sena (Shinde faction) is claiming more seats than ajit pawar led NCP.
