Shiv Sena (UBT) mla Aditya thackeray has written a letter to maharashtra governor Ramesh Bais. Aditya thackeray has written this letter to the governor of maharashtra regarding the issue of construction of Gokhale Bridge. In his letter to the governor, he wrote, "There is hope for an impartial investigation into the Gokhale Bridge issue and hence Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh chahal and Railway officials should be suspended."

After redevelopment of the bridge, one lane was opened for traffic. It is true that BMC has built a new bridge at a cost of Rs 200 crore, but there is something wrong with it too. A phase of the much-awaited Gokhale Bridge in Andheri was inaugurated a few days ago.

A part of the bridge collapsed in July 2018

Let us tell you that this bridge was demolished two years ago and the work of a new bridge started at that place. Due to the closure of this bridge for the last two years, the common people traveling through here data-faced a lot of trouble. This Gopalkrishna Gokhale Bridge, connecting Andheri east and West, has been in the news since 2018 for this reason. A part of this bridge collapsed in July 2018. Two people had died in this. Therefore, the bridge was closed for traffic from november 7, 2022.
