The credibility of political parties, especially national parties, is also linked to this issue. During the financial year 2022-23, 82.42 percent of the income received by national parties from unknown sources is related to electoral bonds. This has been revealed in the study of Association for Democratic Reform. During the financial year 2022-23, these parties received a total income of Rs 1,832.88 crore from unknown sources. Of these, Rs 1510 crore came from electoral bonds. This is shown by the data of six national parties bjp, congress, BSP, CPI, aam aadmi party and National People's Party. bjp received Rs 1400 crore during this period, which is 76.39 percent of the total undisclosed donations. Whereas congress received Rs 315.11 crore from unknown sources, which is 17.19 percent of the total unknown donations.

The government is constantly trying to create such a system in which every penny of the common people's earnings is recorded in the government system. But, looking at the income of national parties from unknown sources, it can be said that all political parties have a privilege in this matter.
