Rouse Avenue Court did not give relief to CM

delhi cm did not get relief from Rouse Avenue court on thursday in the alleged delhi Liquor Policy money laundering case. On the second complaint of ED, the court issued a fresh summons to delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had complained about the cm continuously not following the summons. After hearing the ED complaint, the delhi court ordered cm arvind kejriwal to appear in the court on march 16, 2024 in this case. The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate divya Malhotra of delhi Rouse Avenue court had listed the case for hearing on Thursday.

 Pressure to join BJP

cm arvind kejriwal had targeted prime minister Narendra Modi by posting on X on march 6, 2024. He had alleged that opposition leaders are being harassed and forced to join bjp through ED. AAP's national convenor had further written that if he joins bjp, he will be sent to jail. The notices will stop.

ED demanded to register a case

The Enforcement Directorate had filed a petition in the delhi court demanding prosecution of Arvind Kejriwal. This step has been taken by ED after not appearing in the summons issued in the money laundering case related to delhi Excise Policy case.
