Why the news of Chirag's displeasure regarding Hajipur seat?
Reportedly there are 40 lok sabha seats in bihar and one of these seats is hajipur from where late former Union minister Ramvilas Paswan was the MP. hajipur seat is considered the stronghold of ram Vilas. This time there is a dispute not only in the Paswan family but also in the nda alliance regarding hajipur seat.
Perhaps ram Vilas Paswan's brother Pashupati Paras is the mp here and he is repeatedly saying that he will contest from this seat, while on the other hand, ram Vilas Paswan's son chirag paswan is also contesting from here. The fight over hajipur seat has increased so much that there are reports of Chirag being angry with NDA. Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has also offered Chirag to join the india alliance. Pashupati Paras was elected from here in 2019.
Recently, when PM Modi came on bihar tour and held a rally, Chirag was missing from that rally. If sources are to be believed, he is not getting confidence regarding hajipur seat. As expected, he is angry over the party not getting the assurance of a seat. Chirag is not even coming forward for the last several days. If we talk about Paswan caste voters in bihar, their number is around 6 percent. Paswan caste voters are present in every district of Bihar. ram vilas paswan had a strong hold on this vote. Chirag is making claims after the death of ram Vilas Paswan. Earlier in 2019, under nda, bjp had contested 17 seats and the same number of seats were given to JDU while the remaining six were contested by Lok Janshakti Party. bjp had won the elections on 17 seats and JDU on 16 seats while LJP had managed to win all the six seats.
