According to media reports, Owaisi has completed preparations to strike in Maharashtra. AIMIM plans to contest 8-10 seats in the state. Candidates for these seats can also be announced soon. The special thing is that Owaisi is planning to threaten till South mumbai seat. It is considered one of the high profile seats. Owaisi visited some places in South mumbai on Monday. In such a situation, the discussion about fielding AIMIM party candidate from South mumbai intensified. Owaisi had a long discussion with mp Imtiaz Jalil and mla Waris Pathan during his mumbai visit. According to the report, Pathan said that Owaisi reviewed the seats in the state, and the names of the candidates were also discussed. However, Pathan said, Owaisi's visit was not a part of the election campaign.

Owaisi had won 1 seat in 2019

Earlier, Owaisi's party had also contested the 2019 lok sabha elections. However, then the party had fielded a candidate on 1 seat in alliance with Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and won. But Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi did not get even a single seat. This time there is talk of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi joining Mahavikas Aghadi. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi Chief also attended the meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi on Wednesday. During this there was discussion regarding seat sharing. It is believed that if everything goes well, Prakash Ambedkar's party can contest elections along with shiv sena (Uddhav faction), ncp (Sharad Pawar) and Congress.
