Former Lok Sabha candidate of AAP joins BJP

Just before the lok sabha elections 2024, the aam aadmi party has suffered a big setback in Delhi. Balbir Singh Jakhar, AAP's 2019 lok sabha election candidate from West delhi, joined bjp on tuesday (March 5). According to a TOI report, Jakhar said that workers have been given top priority in bjp and prime minister Narendra Modi's welfare policies are reaching everyone without any discrimination. Balbir Singh Jakhar has joined bjp along with his supporters. delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva welcomed Balbir Jakhar into his party. During this, the President of delhi bjp also praised the prime minister while mentioning his policies. Let us tell you that this time bjp has changed data-faces on most of the seats in Delhi.

Balbir Singh Jakhar praised PM's policies

In the 2019 lok sabha elections, Balbir Singh Jakhar not only got more than six lakh votes less than BJP's Pravesh Singh Verma, who won the seat, but he also stood third after Congress's Mahabal Mishra. Jakhar said that in bjp, workers are always kept ahead and the welfare policies of the prime minister are reaching everyone without any discrimination.

Meanwhile, delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva said that people are inspired by prime minister Narendra Modi's commitment to promote every section of the society and there has been significant progress in empowering women in the last 10 years. This time bjp has also fielded Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of late sushma Swaraj. The party has given him ticket from New Delhi. However, manoj tiwari has been given a chance again this time from North east Delhi. Candidates for North delhi and east delhi are yet to be announced. This time bjp has not given tickets to Meenakshi Lekhi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Ramesh Bidhuri, Parvesh Singh Verma.
