Horrible abuse of prisoners in Israeli Detention..!?
Horrific details of what Palestinians data-face in Israeli detention centers have been revealed after a UN report said it had reason to believe sexual violence, including rape and gang rape, may have taken place during an attack by Hamas militants on Israel. UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency) reports that Palestinians in Israeli custody are subjected to brutal abuse, including being beaten by dogs and raped. It has been alleged that Avargal has been subjected to various tortures including constant sexual assault. According to a report published by The Guardian newspaper, the UN Relief and Works Agency for palestine (UNRWA) reported this information. Based on interviews with Palestinian prisoners released at the Kerem Shalom crossing point, the abuses are said to have been ongoing since December. According to UNRWA, 1,000 prisoners have been released since december, and another 3,000 remain in Israeli custody. Its estimates show that more than 4,000 men, women, and children have been rounded up by Tel Aviv since the Gaza war began.
Detainees reported being trucked to large makeshift military camps housing 100 to 120 people, where they were often held for weeks between interrogations at a nearby facility, the New York Times reported, citing a UNRWA report. Methods of ill-treatment include physical beatings, prolonged periods of forced stress, threats of harm to prisoners and their families, dog attacks, humiliation of personal dignity, and indignities.
Forced to urinate like animals, they were not only deprived of water, food, sleep, and toilets but were also denied the right to worship according to their religion and were handcuffed so tightly that they could be injured.  Many people were found with injuries on their shoulders, necks, backs, and legs and were attacked with metal rods and guns, the report said. Many were also reportedly pushed into cages and attacked by dogs.
The 1,002 detainees released since december include 29 children under the age of six, 80 women, and 21 UNRWA staff, some of whom had chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's or cancer. israel has denied the allegations of abuse, saying it was propaganda spread by Hamas. It also names UNRWA staff, and israel says 450 of UNRWA's 13,000 workers in Gaza are members of Hamas or other militant groups.
