Minister Atishi - When will women get Rs 1000 every month?
The delhi government has announced in its budget to give one thousand rupees every month to women. bjp is calling it a free speech and is raising questions as to why it was remembered even before the elections. When delhi Finance minister Atishi was talked to on BJP's questions, she said that we have always given priority to the needs of women. We have made it easier for women to run a household. ‘We have got everything done till now by fighting’
Atishi was asked that how will he be able to implement this scheme in such a situation where kejriwal is obviously at loggerheads with the lg of delhi and the Centre. On this he said that till now we have got everything done by fighting. We never found the easy way. Obstacles were always imposed. But whatever promise arvind kejriwal makes to the people of delhi, he fulfills it at all costs. This is the kejriwal model. Similarly, this time he will definitely fulfill the promise he has made to his sisters.
In which month will women get the first installment?
Atishi was asked when the first installment would be released to women. On this the Finance minister said that the code of conduct can be imposed any time now. Its process is there and it will be done only after the elections, so let us assume that if it is notified near June, then from September-October we will start giving thousand rupees in the bank accounts of women.
