DK Shivkumar met Vikramaditya Singh and Pratibha Singh

Amidst the political turmoil in Himachal Pradesh, congress had sent karnataka Deputy cm DK Shivakumar to shimla as an observer. Shivkumar met congress leaders Pratibha Singh and vikramaditya Singh in a hotel. All three were seen leaving the hotel in a car. After coming out, DK Shivakumar said that everything is fine and claimed that the government will last for five years. All three have gone to the Chief Minister's residence by car.

Answering media questions, DK Shivakumar said, "All is well." The government will run for five years. We are all fine. All issues have been resolved. we have worked. We will sit and listen to all the MLAs. There is no problem in the government.'' The number of congress MLAs in the 68-member assembly is now reduced to 34 as its six rebel MLAs have been disqualified. Sudhir Sharma, one of the rebel MLAs, said that he will challenge this decision in the court. Sudhir claimed that cm Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu's government is in minority and hence its demise is certain. Let us tell you that after the disqualification of the rebels, the majority figure in the assembly is 32 and congress has more MLAs than this.

Sukhu will remain cm till lok sabha elections!

Not only were these rebel MLAs a challenge for the congress, but vikramaditya Singh's displeasure was also a big crisis for the Congress. After his resignation on Wednesday, the congress leadership started trying to pacify him and two observers from the state, DK Shivkumar and former Haryana's Bhupendra Singh Hooda, were sent to Shimla. On the other hand, it was believed that cm Sukhu's chair could be snatched away but Sukhu would remain the cm of the state till the lok sabha elections.
