Troubles for Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Party may increase in Maharashtra!?
Currently EOW has started its investigation in the case of Rs 50 crore fund. shiv sena (Shinde faction) had complained against shiv sena uddhav balasaheb thackeray party in the EOW of mumbai police that despite the election commission declaring them the real shiv sena, about Rs 50 crores were withdrawn from the party fund by shiv sena uddhav balasaheb thackeray Party.
As of now EOW has started its investigation in this matter and has sought information about who operates this account and who withdrew the money from the bank account from which this money was withdrawn. Also, bank officials have been called for questioning. Not only this, EOW has also written a letter to the Income Tax Department seeking information as to who is paying the tax of shiv sena (Shinde faction) party since the day the election Commission's decision came. In february 2023, the election commission had declared Eknath Shinde's shiv sena as the real shiv sena and the symbol of Dhanushyaban was also given to him.
Last month, chief minister Eknath Shinde-led shiv sena met mumbai police Commissioner vivek Phansalkar and lodged a police complaint of fraud and forgery against uddhav Thackeray-led Sena UBT officials. The complaint states that the UBT faction is misusing the party's PAN and TAN details and fraudulently filing Shiv Sena's TDS and income tax returns.
