At least 15 people, including five policemen, were injured when a district administration police jeep, which was running about a kilometer ahead of chief minister Yogi Adityanath's convoy, met with an accident in Arjunganj area of lucknow on saturday night. There is no impact on the Chief Minister's convoy due to this accident. The Chief Minister's convoy was returning from Amausi airport and the chief minister was present in the convoy in his vehicle.

lucknow police Commissioner SB Shirodkar said that on saturday evening, a Bolero jeep (Anti Demo) of the district police was running one kilometer ahead of the Chief Minister's convoy. Before this jeep, a police interceptor vehicle was running. The interceptor vehicle collided with a dog in Arjunganj market area and the dog was lying dead on the road. The anti-demo jeep coming from behind at high speed went out of control after the dog ran over it and collided with two other cars moving on the road. He said that due to this accident, 15 people including five policemen sitting in the jeep were injured and have been admitted to the hospital.

Principal Secretary Sanjay prasad inquired about the condition of the injured.

Joint police Commissioner akash Kulhari said that five policemen sitting in the Bolero jeep and 10 other people sitting in two cars were injured. According to him, the condition of some of the injured is critical. The police Commissioner said that since this anti-demo jeep was running one kilometer ahead of the Chief Minister's convoy, the Chief Minister's convoy was not affected by this accident. According to him, the Chief Minister's convoy was returning from Amausi airport and the chief minister was present in the convoy in his vehicle. As soon as information about this incident was received, Principal Secretary Sanjay prasad and director General of police Prashant Kumar reached the hospital and took information about the injured from the doctors.
