After this, on october 3, 2017, the supreme court issued a notice to the Center and the election commission on the PIL filed by the NGO. Then on january 2, 2018, the central government notified the Electoral Bond Scheme. On november 7, 2022, the Electoral Bond Scheme was amended to increase the days of sale from 70 to 85 in a year.
