Delhi AIIMS has taken steps towards cashless payment, introduces Smart Card
As per report All india Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) located in the country's capital delhi is the best hospital in the country. This is the reason why people from every corner of the country come here for treatment. When we are talking about treatment, it also involves expenses. Be it food, drink or accommodation. For which people need cash. Many times, patients have to data-face a lot of difficulties in ordering food when their relatives run out of cash. Considering the problems of patients and their relatives, delhi AIIMS has taken steps towards cashless payment. Actually, AIIMS has started payment through smart card. Now relatives of patients will also be able to make cashless payment through AIIMS smart card.
Meanwhile AIIMS administration has issued this smart card in collaboration with SBI. Yesterday i.e. on Monday, on the occasion of a program organized at AIIMS, Union health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya released it in the presence of AIIMS director Dr. M srinivas and bank officials. This card has been named sbi AIIMS Smart Card. Now, all payments from eating and drinking in AIIMS canteen to OPD fees and investigation fees will be taken through this smart card.
With the release of the smart card on Monday, its use has started in the maternal and child block of delhi AIIMS. Now patients can make cashless payment of treatment fees in AIIMS through this smart card. Dr. Reema Dada, in-charge of media Division of AIIMS, said that the facility of payment of treatment fees through this smart card will be started in different phases in the main hospital and various centers of AIIMS.
