However, now SSP nainital Prahlad Narayan meena has made it clear in a press conference that Abdul Malik, the mastermind of Haldwani violence, is still away from the police and has not been arrested yet. Along with this, SSP nainital has said that three FIRs have been registered in this incident and 25 people have been arrested in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, SSP Prahlad Narayan meena said that 7 pistols have been recovered from 25 accused from different places. Till now, a total of 30 people have been arrested after the incident and the search operation is going on at the spot. The mastermind of the violence, Abdul Malik, has not been arrested yet, the police team is trying to arrest him. The SSP said that government weapons have also been recovered from the arrested people, the rioters had looted the weapons and bullets from the police station and took them away.
