Delhi government has taken a big decision for the transgender community

According to sources delhi cm arvind kejriwal announced that now travel in delhi buses will be free for transgender community also. cm said that soon it will be passed by the cabinet and implemented. He expressed hope that this decision will greatly benefit the people of Kinnar community. delhi cm said that the eunuch community is largely neglected in our social environment. This should not happen, they are also human beings and they also have equal rights. delhi cm said, "A good news has to be given. Kinnar community is that society, which till date all the societies have neglected, no work has been done for them. Look at the entire country, in the last 75 years, no government has done anything for them. "No party government has done any work for the transgender community. Today I am very happy to tell you that the delhi government has taken a big decision for the transgender community."

Meanwhile cm kejriwal further said, "We have decided that arrangements will be made for free travel in delhi buses for the people of the Kinnar community. Just as we give free travel to women, in the same way all the people of the Kinnar community will be given free travel." "This decision will be brought to the cabinet within the next few days. Once the cabinet decision is notified, this facility will be operational as soon as possible. We will try to implement it within the next few weeks."

Moreover the chief minister further said, "In october 2019, we had announced free travel for women. It became very popular among women. About 14 lakh women travel free in delhi buses every day. I have talked to many women.. "It has been beneficial in different ways. From october 2019 till today, 147 crore free tickets have been given to women. Now people from the transgender community have also been included in it. They will also get the benefit of this system."
