'Beginning of Akhand Ramayana lesson, this area will be known as Gyanvapi Basement'
Reportedly following the order of varanasi district Court, devotees also had darshan yesterday after performing puja in the basement of Gyanvapi complex late at night. Devotees were able to have darshan under heavy security from some distance away from the basement. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the people of All india Sant Committee, Kashi Vidvat Parishad, under the supervision of varanasi district Administration, reached the basement of Gyanvapi complex and performed darshan and worship. After the darshan, the National General Secretary of Kashi Vidvat Parishad made a big announcement in the conversation regarding the basement of Gyanvapi campus. In the announcement he said that now this basement will be known as Gyanvapi basement. Akhand Ramayana has also been started in this basement. And there will be puja and aarti five times a day.
Meanwhile National General Secretary of Kashi Vidvat Parishad, professor Ramnarayan Dwivedi, while talking to ABP Live, said that after waiting for a long time, we have got the privilege of seeing the Gods and Goddesses in the basement of Gyanvapi campus. We express our heartfelt gratitude to varanasi district Court. Apart from this, we and the Sant Samaj have decided in the presence of the district administration that this basement of Gyanvapi will now be known as Gyanvapi basement. Actually, Tahkhana is an urdu word, whereas the ancient tradition here is completely connected with the Sanatan culture, hence everyone believes that it should be named Gyanvapi Talgrih.
While giving this information, Kashi Vidvat Parishad also said that Akhand Ramayana recitation has been started by all of us in Gyanvapi basement and it will continue continuously. Devotees are also able to have darshan in large numbers at the designated place amid security arrangements, there is immense enthusiasm in their minds. In this area of the campus, puja and aarti will be performed at fixed five times. Priests and archakas have also been appointed for this.
