Reportedly this time also farmers can get something more from the interim budget. In the election season, bjp cannot take the risk of angering the farmers. Similarly, after the landslide victory in the last lok sabha elections, the Modi government had brought three laws related to agriculture. However, after huge protest and long struggle by the farmers, the central government had to withdraw all three laws to avoid losses in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative assembly elections.

Perhaps despite this, there is a lot of anger among a large section of farmers regarding the attitude of the Modi government. prime minister Narendra Modi had promised in the last elections that the income of farmers would double. A large section of farmers feel that the Modi government has not been able to take concrete steps to fulfill its promises. The reality is that 2024 has come, but it does not appear that farmers' income has doubled at the ground level.

Similarly, farmers are once again preparing for agitation. Its aroma can be felt from the preparations of farmer organizations in different parts of the country. There is anger among the farmers of haryana and punjab as well as Uttar Pradesh over the government not fulfilling the promises made during the previous agitation. Farmer organizations are also continuously warning against moving towards Delhi.
