Currently after the setback received by trinamool congress (TMC) in West bengal, now aam aadmi party (AAP) has also sidelined congress in Punjab. AAP has made it clear that the party will contest the lok sabha elections alone in Punjab. punjab CM and AAP leader bhagwant mann said that we have nothing to do with congress in Punjab. He said, "Aam Aadmi party has shortlisted about 40 candidates for 13 lok sabha seats in Punjab. The party is conducting a survey for the candidates for 13 lok sabha seats. Regarding alliance with congress in chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, bhagwant mann said that aam aadmi party can also increase the lok sabha seats to 14, because one seat is also from Chandigarh.

Meanwhile AAP is still ready for alliance with congress in Delhi. Till now, the formula for the seven seats here has not been prepared, but a meeting has been held between the National Alliance Committee of congress and AAP leaders regarding seat sharing. During this period, both the parties have reiterated their unity against BJP.

By giving a blow to the alliance of opposition parties 'Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance' (India), West bengal Chief minister and TMC Chief mamata banerjee announced on wednesday (January 24) that we will contest the lok sabha elections alone in the state. Regarding seat sharing between congress and TMC, he said, “I had given them (Congress) a proposal on seat sharing, but they rejected it in the beginning. Our party has now decided to contest the elections alone in Bengal. Meanwhile, during the Bharat Jodo Nyay yatra in North Salmara, Assam, congress General Secretary jairam ramesh said, "No one can imagine 'India' alliance without mamata Banerjee. The ‘India’ alliance will contest the lok sabha elections in West bengal and all (partners) will participate.” Let us tell you that congress and AAP are part of the opposition alliance 'India'.
