Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin has announced that over 13 lakh people across the state have benefited from the ‘Nalam Kaakkum Stalin’ (Stalin Safeguards Health) scheme since its launch. The chief minister highlighted the success of the initiative while addressing the public and reviewing the progress of the state’s healthcare welfare programs.

The ‘Nalam Kaakkum Stalin’ camps were introduced with the objective of providing accessible and affordable healthcare services to people, especially those from economically weaker sections and those living in remote areas. Through these camps, citizens receive free medical check-ups, diagnosis, consultations, and referrals for advanced treatment when necessary.

According to the chief minister, the program has played a crucial role in early detection of diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, heart-related ailments, and other chronic conditions. By identifying health issues at an early stage, the government aims to reduce medical expenses for families and improve overall public health outcomes.

Specialty doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers from government hospitals actively participate in these camps. The initiative also helps patients enroll in government health insurance schemes and access further treatment at public hospitals without financial burden.

Chief minister M.K. stalin stated that the overwhelming response to the camps reflects the people’s trust in the state government’s commitment to healthcare. He reaffirmed that ensuring good health for every citizen remains a top priority of the Dravidian Model of governance.

The government plans to expand the reach of the ‘Nalam Kaakkum Stalin’ camps in the coming months, covering more villages and urban neighborhoods, so that no citizen is left behind in receiving quality healthcare services.

This initiative stands as a key example of the tamil Nadu government’s focus on preventive healthcare, social welfare, and inclusive development, benefiting lakhs of people across the state.
