One month of Congress's donation campaign completed
congress on thursday said that the party has received Rs 15 crore in the last one month as part of its campaign to collect funds before the upcoming lok sabha elections. congress Treasurer ajay Maken said that the party had started an online donation campaign on december 18 and in 31 days the party has collected Rs 15 crore. He posted on 'X', "Today is an important day because it is the 31st day of our campaign. We have successfully raised Rs 15 crore through more than three lakh valid transactions. congress President mallikarjun Kharge started a campaign to collect donations from people under the name 'Donate for Desh' on december 18 and donated Rs 1.38 lakh to the party on the first day. The objective of this campaign is to raise resources for the party for the lok sabha elections to be held this year.
UP at number seven
Talking about UP, according to the data till 5.4 am on january 19, congress has received Rs 75 lakh 88 thousand 676 from here. Whereas congress got Rs 12 lakh 32 thousand 422 from Uttarakhand. Among the states and union territories from which congress has received donations so far, UP is at seventh place and uttarakhand is at 20th place. According to congress website donateinc.net, till 5.4 am on Friday, congress has received Rs 15 crore 42 lakh 70 thousand 596. Of the total donations received by congress so far, 12.4 percent is from UP and 1.2 percent from Uttarakhand.
Ahead of UP are Rajasthan, Telangana, Haryana, Maharashtra, madhya pradesh and punjab respectively. After UP, Bihar, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Union Territory Chandigarh, Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir, Manipur, Goa, Union Territory State Puducherry, Union Territory Ladakh, Union Territory Dadra and nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Union Territory andaman and Nicobar, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Union Territory Lakshadweep, Mumbai, and Sikkim.
