According to arjun Soni, leader of the 108-member Damru team, the Damru team was started about six years ago. During Kirtan we used to praise god in a different way. Our team has started practicing for the event to be held in Ayodhya. Our team is practicing at Sahu Samaj Dharamshala located at Ghoda Nakkas in the capital Bhopal. 30 artists of the team have expertise in playing Damru and one has expertise in playing Shringi, while the musical instruments include 35 conch shells, 30 Damru, 35 cymbals, one Puneri Dhol, one 60 inch drum, one Thal Ghanta, 4 small drums, 4 sticks. Contains 2000 thousand ghunghrus threaded in it.
