The Damru team of bhopal, madhya pradesh will leave on thursday (January 18) to perform at the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav in Ayodhya. This 108 member team from bhopal will leave for ayodhya by bus. madhya pradesh government minister vishwas Kailash Sarang will flag off the 108-member team bus. The first performance of the Damru team will be held on january 21 at ram Ki Pauri in Ayodhya.

The team was started 6 years agoAccording to arjun Soni, leader of the 108-member Damru team, the Damru team was started about six years ago. During Kirtan we used to praise god in a different way. Our team has started practicing for the event to be held in Ayodhya. Our team is practicing at Sahu Samaj Dharamshala located at Ghoda Nakkas in the capital Bhopal. 30 artists of the team have expertise in playing Damru and one has expertise in playing Shringi, while the musical instruments include 35 conch shells, 30 Damru, 35 cymbals, one Puneri Dhol, one 60 inch drum, one Thal Ghanta, 4 small drums, 4 sticks. Contains 2000 thousand ghunghrus threaded in it.
