Taiwan is seen as being strategically and geographically significant to the entire world. Since china already controls much of the South water, it will also control a larger portion of the water if taiwan falls under its jurisdiction. This will also affect international maritime trade.

Second, a Taiwanese corporation called taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing commands a significant portion of the global market. This company produces chips that are used in gaming consoles, watches, laptops, and mobile phones. This corporation was valued at approximately $100 billion in 2021. china might take control of the largest industry in the world if it were to gain authority over Taiwan. india and taiwan are both democratic nations. Both nations are against China's increasing influence. Taiwan's condition is crucial to India's economic and national security goals. The colonization of taiwan by china may have unfavourable effects on India.
