Anil Vij stressed the need for mandatory RT-PCR testing for diseases like influenza and serious respiratory infection cases. He informed in the meeting that a mock drill has been organized in haryana and all necessary preparations have been completed. Anil Vij said that there are 238 oxygen producing plants in haryana and even before this the state has data-faced the epidemic with full determination.

Whereas Union health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, while presiding over a high-level review meeting with the states, said that Covid is not over yet. He also requested the states to keep an eye on new cases of Covid-19, symptoms and their severity so that appropriate public health measures can be planned.
