Why is Nitish not able to become the leader of India?
1. congress does not want to weaken the fight in South and Central india by putting nitish kumar forward. If
Nitish becomes the Prime Ministerial candidate, then India’s constituent parties in states like Bengal, kerala and
Maharashtra may have to suffer losses.
2. Nitish's politics has been of the right wing. In such a situation, if his name is put forward, the Muslim vote
bank may also shift to third front parties. Parties like BSP in UP and AIMIM in bihar are active.
3. If any one data-face is put forward before the elections, then the election will be limited to that data-face only. Congress
has suffered its loss in the recent assembly elections. Therefore the party does not want to put forward Nitish
Kumar.
4. Most of the parties of india alliance have to share seats with Congress. In such a situation, it is not possible for
this party to openly support Nitish Kumar. Therefore, most parties are hesitant in putting forward Nitish's name.
