He asked punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann to explain why his government hired aluxury plane worth Rs 400 crore at the cost of Rs 10 lakh per hour to bring delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwalfrom Delhi. He demanded that the entire expenditure incurred by the state government in hiring aircraft forKejriwal's visit to punjab as well as for the party's election campaigns in other states should be recovered fromthe party.Romana said that the punjab government has not only provided Rs 400 crore Dassault Falcon 2000 LX aircraftworth Rs 10 lakh each to facilitate Kejriwal's journey from delhi to bathinda on december 17 and take him toMaur, the aam aadmi party rally venue. Not only was it rented on an hourly rate, the chief minister himselfalso traveled from chandigarh to bathinda in a government helicopter. He said it was condemnable thatKejriwal, who claimed to represent the common man, could not even travel 30 km by road and kept waiting forMann to complete the journey by helicopter.Romana praised social worker GoyalPraising social activist Manik Goyal for exposing the looting of the government treasury on behalf of AAP,Romana said he has revealed that by tracing the flight paths of both Kejriwal's planes, the chief minister enjoysthe privilege of hiring a plane.
