Reportedly in coimbatore, Nilgiris, many people have lost lakhs of money in scams through online apps. While wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital money transactions are growing exponentially, cybercrimes are also increasing rapidly in the country. A huge cybercrime scam is taking place in Coimbatore. EVGO, a business-oriented online app, was launched a few months ago. It is said that the founder of this act is Vicious Desai and below him there is a person named Rock Star. And they have announced three attractive schemes. Suppose if you invest 680 rupees in the first scheme, you will get 1295 rupees for 35 days at the rate of 37 rupees per day. If you invest Rs 6000 in the second plan, you will get Rs 24,960 for 52 days at the rate of Rs 480 per day. In the third plan, if you invest 58000, you will get 1,52,000 rupees for 20 days at the rate of 5200 rupees per day.

Hence believing in this, more than a thousand people have invested in coimbatore and Nilgiri district alone as their relatives and near ones. All of them are integrated through the whatsapp app. In this case, last few days, EVGO app is not working. As there is a whatsapp group, millions of people have paid to wait for the information.

However, since no information was received, when an investor contacted EVICO, which is operating in the United States, via mail, it was revealed that it was a fake. After this, 20 victims reported to the coimbatore Cybercrime Inspector, demanding a refund of around 30 lakh rupees. When the victim Veera spoke about this, "More than 2000 crores of money may have been cheated from the public through this scheme across India. He said that a new app has been developed and is now operational. He said the truth will be known only if the police department arrests the founder of the app, Desai. Even though the police department has been warning people about the online scams that pique people's curiosity and desire, people are getting fooled by such online scams. So the general public is advised to exercise extreme caution before investing in such online apps.
