Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde on wednesday criticized the opposition for targeting his governmentand said that the opposition should think before speaking. Shinde said at a press conference here on the eve of thewinter session of the state legislature that the opposition has lost the trust of the public due to the BJP’s victory inthree states in the recently held assembly elections. The chief minister said, “Before the election results, theopposition had said that the popularity of prime minister Narendra Modi was decreasing. But, people have trustedModi’s guarantee. Therefore, the opposition should think now before opening its mouth. ,What did cm Shinde say?He said that the situation in maharashtra is also favorable for his government and it has the blessings of the peopleand the opposition is losing its support base and the ground is slipping under its feet. Shinde claimed that theopposition alliance indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India) is on the verge of breaking due tothe defeat in the assembly elections.
