Prime minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day uttarakhand Global Investor Summit-2023 (GlobalInvestor Summit) being organized in dehradun on friday at 10.30 am. Whereas Union home minister amit Shahwill be present during the conclusion of this conference on december 9. The Prime Minister’s office (PMO) gavethis information in a statement on Wednesday. According to the statement, the prime minister will also address thegathering present on this occasion. PMO said, this summit with the theme “Peace to Prosperity” is a step towardsestablishing uttarakhand as new investment destinations. Apart from the prime minister, thousands of investorsand representatives from all over the world will participate in the summit. The PMO statement said that along withUnion Ministers and ambassadors of various countries, prominent industrialists will also participate in it.CM reviewed the preparationsMeanwhile, according to an official release, uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed thepreparations for the summit on Wednesday. dehradun is being decorated for more than a fortnight before theevent. Main roads have been renovated and damaged dividers and footpaths have been repaired. cm Dhami toldthe officials that all the arrangements for organizing the summit should be completed on time. He said that this is abig event for the state. Before the summit, Dhami held several road shows in major cities across the country and inLondon and Birmingham in the UK to attract investors in the state. He said that investment memorandums ofunderstanding (MoUs) worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore have been signed with various companies for investmentin the state. cm Dhami said that now efforts are being made to implement these MOUs which have the potential tocreate employment opportunities for the local people.
