The MOH highlighted that while the risk of Covid-19 in children is lower than in adults, there can be "severe consequences", especially if the child is unvaccinated and has underlying conditions. All persons six months of age and older are therefore encouraged to receive an additional dose of the updated Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty or Moderna/Spikevax Covid-19 vaccines over a year.
