Chhattisgarh Elections: Voting today on 70 seats of the second phase

The second phase of voting for the chhattisgarh assembly elections will be held today november 17. Voting will

be held on 70 seats in 19 districts. Of these, 9 seats are reserved for sc and 17 for ST. A total of 958 candidates

are in the fray in the second phase of voting. The total number of voters on 70 seats is 1.63 crore, of which 81.42

lakh are male voters and 81.72 lakh are female voters, while 684 are third gender voters. 18,806 polling stations

have been set up by the election commission for the final phase.

Now talking about the candidates, maximum number of candidates have stood for raipur West assembly seat.

There are 26 candidates in the fray from here whereas in Daundi Lohara at least four candidates are trying their

luck.

There are so many seats district wise


3 in Jashpur district, 3 in Korea, 2 in Surajpur, 3 in Surguja, 3 in Balrampur, 3 in Balod, 6 in Durg, 3 in

Bemetara, 3 in Dhamtari, 2 in Gariaband, 7 in raipur, 4 in Balodabazar-Bhatapar. There are 4 seats in

Mahasamund, 5 in Bilaspur, 2 in Mungail, 4 in Korba, 6 in Janjgir-Champa, 5 in Raigarh, 2 in Gaurela-Penda-

Marwahi.

That's why the second phase is also important

In this phase, voting will be held on the seats of cm Bhupesh Baghel and deputy cm TS Singhdev. The

reputation of 10 ministers including the cm is at stake. Voting will also be held on the seat of Union Minister

Renuka Singh on Friday. The reputation of the bjp state president and two MPs is also at stake. In the second

phase, voting will be conducted in North and Central Chhattisgarh.
