AAMUK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran blamed the car accident in chennai on the failure to control the movement of drugs across tamil Nadu including Chennai. In a statement issued by AAMK General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran regarding the chennai car accident, "The news that two people have died in an accident caused by a speeding car in Annanagar, chennai is very painful. In the same accident, while three more people were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment, there are reports that the college students drove the car at high speed due to cannabis intoxication and caused the accident. The public alleges that the DMK government's failure to control the movement of drugs including ganja, which is the cause of the daily law and order disorder in all parts of tamil Nadu including the capital, is the cause of such accidents and deaths.

Therefore, I urge the chief minister of tamil Nadu Mr. M.K.Stalin to eradicate the rampant drug culture among students, youth and the general public and put a permanent end to it.
